3W Networks to deliver most reliable Telecommunication and Safety System for Saudi Arabia’s Synthetic Rubber Production Plant

3W Networks, the premier System Integrator in the region, is selected to deliver the Communication and Safety System of the Saudi Elastomers Project, Utilities and Offsite (U&O), Carbon Black, and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) Decomposition Unit for Al Jubail Petrochemical Company (KEMYA).

The Saudi Elastomers Project, located in Al Jubail Industrial City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is one of the largest petrochemicals facilities in the world. It has been scheduled for completion in 2015. The facility has the capacity to produce up to 400,000 tonnes per year of rubber including halobutyl, styrene butadiene, polybutadiene, and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubbers, thermoplastic specialty polymers, and carbon black to serve local markets, the Middle East and Asia.

3W Networks will work with the most experienced engineering company in the industry to build and implement a first-rate Telephone System, Local Area Networks and Closed Circuit Television System for the facility. The scope of work includes Detailed Design and Engineering, Project Management, Systems Integration, Factory Acceptance Test, Installation and Commissioning.
