Abu Dhabi, UAE, 1 April 2013 — Technip and National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) have selected 3W Networks as the Systems Integrator of the Telecommunication System package for ZADCO’s Satah Full Field Development Project. The Satah Full Field is located 200 kilometres northwest of the city of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The project scope involves offshore brownfield works to the existing well head platforms and production manifold platform, installation of infield pipelines, as well as modifications and installation of new facilities at the Onshore Satah plant at Zirku Island.

3W Networks will provide an integrated solution of a number of systems including Public Address and General Alarm, Emergency Telephones, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Radio. The solution will be engineered by the local 3W team in the UAE and all activities such as integration, acceptance testing, commissioning and training will be conducted at its regional engineering centre also located in the UAE.

“We are delighted to have been selected by both Technip and NPCC for this important infrastructure project. Our previous success with NPCC on similar projects has demonstrated to our customers the advantage of being local, this was a significant reason behind our selection. We look forward to continuing our investment in facilities and staff for the benefit of our customers” said Walid Gamali, 3W Networks, Chief Executive Officer.
