3W Networks bags Australian Business Award
3W Networks won the inaugural Australian Business Award in the category of IT/Communications. 3W Networks was selected from a shortlist of nominees which included Hewlett Packard and Aconex. The award places 3W Networks amongst other high profile winners including Etihad Airways, HSBC, Atlantis Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel and Pacific Controls.
The winners were decided by votes from clients and colleagues and audited by the Australian Business Council.
The purpose of the awards is to acknowledge some of the exceptional companies who have excelled within the UAE business sector and have shown great entrepreneurial spirit and leadership.
"The Australian Business Awards are a most welcome and overdue way to recognize publicly the achievements of those whose impact has been greatest" said Jeremy Bruer, Australian Ambassador to the UAE.
Each of the companies selected represent the best of breed in that particular area having shown market leadership, a superior customer experience and an overall excellence in that field. With Dubai becoming a hub to world class businesses, these awards will be keenly sought after and the management of 3W Networks are well pleased to have such a major achievement in 2008.
The competition results were announced at a Gala event in Dubai on November 19th, 2008. The prize was accepted on behalf of 3W Networks by Walid Gamali, Chief Executive Officer.
